OK, so the blog is officially just pictures of my child! Brooks is 3 months old now and I feel like a cliche but I can’t help saying “It goes so fast! Slow down son!”
I have seen so many cute ideas to take monthly photos, but since I wasn’t really prepared at month 1, it looks like I will just be making little poster for each month (love all the ideas with chalkboards and onesies). Since I haven’t posted months 1 and 2, I will just throw them all 3 down along with some of my favorites from the past month. If you make it to the very end of the post there are some humorous ones:
Some 3 month updates — Brooks loves to look at his hands and anything we put in front of him he will study intently; He recognizes when his mom or dad walk in the room which makes us feel good, of course; Brooks is just starting to sleep in his own room (hope he doesn’t have whale nightmares!); singing will make him laugh and try to sing along.
I promise I “narrowed” these down! Hang in there…
And now a couple of funny ones. Brooks spits up a lot, a lot, a lot. Our pediatrician friend says they call babies like Brooks “happy spitters” because it doesn’t seem to phase them when they regurgitate what seems like their entire previous meal. All of our clothes remain soaked in spit up and we have white spots all over our hardwood floors… you get the idea. A couple of these special moments were caught on camera:
